The Scripture says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God . . . (Romans 3:23); For the wages of sin is death . . . (Romans 6:23a); but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23b).
What is God’s grace? God’s grace is unmerited favor with Him. We cannot earn it . . . for it is a free gift of God. “For by grace are you saved through faith; and not of yourselves; it is a gift of God, not of works, should any one boast” (Ephesians 2:8, 9).
Grace is God’s love in action even though we do not deserve it. The Bible says, “For we all have sinned.” However, God was merciful and kind by showing His grace and saving us from sin’s judgment. God gives us His grace by helping us and taking care of our daily needs such as bread, water, clothing, and shelter. God’s grace gives you strength and courage to make it through difficult times in life. The Bible says, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith” (Ephesians 2:8).
We should spend time with the Lord through daily prayer and Bible reading. We now have direct access to the “throne of grace.” The Scripture says, “And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom” (Mark 15:38). So now, as it is written in Hebrews 4:16, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

Prayer
Heavenly Father, help us to seek Your face throughout the day, and help us to know that You are always near. Lord, help us to take advantage of the awesome privilege we have through Your death on the cross to draw near to God the Father through You at all times and present our problems and challenges to our heavenly Father in prayer. Help me Lord to do Your will daily. Lord, help me to keep my eyes on You at all time. Let me find hope and peace in You. In Jesus’s name I pray. Amen.
