Do you know the LORD? Romans 3:23 says we all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. The penalty for sin is spiritual death. The Bible is God’s Word of love and salvation. And says … “but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name” (John 20:31).
Christ died to save sinners. “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). Everyone who believes will have eternal life. “Whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Good works will not save you. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast” (Ephesians 2:8, 9). Hell and punishment await unbelievers. “… in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power…” (2 Thessalonians 1:8, 9).
The Good News is that the Lord Jesus Christ died for you and me on the cross. Romans 10:9 says, “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Take this moment in time to repent and give your heart, soul, and mind to the LORD. Accept His love and free gift of salvation. He is waiting for you and wants to accept you into His heavenly family. Give thanks to God for the wonderful gift of salvation.
Prayer
