The Bible says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). God our heavenly Father is holy. Sin cannot enter His presence, for Psalm 97:2 says, “righteousness and judgment are the habitation of His Throne.” Salvation means to be redeemed or delivered from bondage and death caused by sin and its punishment and set free to know, love, and serve God our heavenly Father. We live in a fallen world where there is much confusion, violence, and hatred concerning the things of God. The Word of God is being watered down with many translations of man’s own opinion and wisdom. Millions of souls are being deceived by false doctrines. The only way to be delivered from these deceptive systems is found in God’s Word.
To be saved requires faith and belief in one’s heart. For Romans 10:10 says, “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Sin separates man from our heavenly Father. Isaiah 59:2 says, “But your iniquities have separated you and your God, and your sins have hide His face from you.” The plain truth is that it is impossible to save yourself.
Can I Be Saved?
The Bible says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 NKJV). “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins” (1 John 4:10 NKJV).
The Lord Jesus Christ our Savior extends an invitation to sinners to accept God’s plan of Salvation. The Lord says, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). Through the death and resurrection of Christ on the cross our sins are forgiven and salvation can be yours today. “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit” (1 Peter 3:18 NKJV).
What Must I Do to Be Saved?
Accept our heavenly Father’s plan of salvation that you are a lost sinner unable to save yourself. The Bible says, “But demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8 NKJV).
If you believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for your sins, then ask Him right now to be your Savior. “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name” (John 1:12). Therefore, confess before others the Lord Jesus Christ. “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9 NKJV). “Most Assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My Word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life” (John 5:24).
Will You Accept the Lord’s Invitation?
God be merciful to me a sinner. I believe Christ died for me, and that His precious blood will cleanse me from all my sins. By faith I now receive the Lord Jesus Christ into my heart as my Lord and my Savior; trusting Him for the salvation of my soul. Help me, Lord, to do Your perfect and complete will each day. In Jesus’s name I pray. Amen.
“Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1 NKJV). “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7).
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen” (Ephesians 3:20–21).
