Help support VA’s largest research program

I’m reaching out on behalf of the Million Veteran Program (MVP) to invite National Association of American Veterans to join our Community Network and help spread the word about MVP’s voluntary research program.

At MVP, our goal is to improve the future of health care for all Veterans, across age, race, gender, service branch, and era. With more than 1,000,000 Veteran participants, MVP is the largest research program at the Department of Veterans Affairs and the world’s largest and most diverse genetic research program within a health care system.

With National Association of American Veterans’ commitment to assisting Servicemembers and disabled Veterans and their dependents access their health benefits, we support this mission by making discoveries that matter to Veterans in areas such as mental health, heart health, cancer, wellness, and more.

We would appreciate National Association of American Veterans’ support in helping us reach more Veterans about MVP by sharing the social media posts from the attached toolkit. You can also access additional resources in our communications toolkit.

I am also attaching the July edition of our newsletter, MVP Matters, which highlights MVP’s research, features Veterans in MVP, and shares information about how our researchers are making groundbreaking discoveries in diverse populations—discoveries that will lead to better detection, prevention, and treatments for conditions that matter to Veterans.

If you’re interested in learning more about MVP or sharing information about our program with your network, I’d be glad to set up a call to discuss opportunities and answer any questions.
