The VA Medical Center has partnered with the Consumer Financial
Protection Bureau (CFPB), a federal agency, to provide free financial
coaching services to veterans. Financial coaches will provide support,
encouragement, accountability, and tools to help one make informed
decisions.
Veterans, Inactive National Guardsmen and Reservists, and immediate
family members are eligible for this service. A financial coach is a
trained professional who will guide you in a process that is
non-judgmental and based on your personal goals. Financial coaches will
provide support, encouragement, accountability, and tools you will need
to help you make informed decisions.
A financial coach can be one-on-one and personalized at no cost to you.
Tele-coaching and virtual coaching services are available. For more
information about the program, contact Alina Newburn, Financial Coach,
Contractor, Armed Forces Services Corporation at 1-703-228-1426 or
