It warms my heart to tell you and the National Association of American Veterans how Charlie and I appreciate your dedication, hard work, commitment, and cooperation you have given to us caregivers and Veterans.
Recently, I and my husband, Charlie, were sent on a much-needed respite. Fortunately, we had the opportunity to stay for a week at the National Conference Center in Leesburg, Virginia. It’s our home away from home.
We
were first greeted by the young porter who went above and beyond. I say this because I could not find a place to park due to an event at that time. The young man offered to park the van and locate me to bring the keys. This made me feel very special. That’s only one thing that sets the National apart from the rest! Your staff is awesome, always there when needed, and cares for us and our feelings with so much TLC. Charlie would like to say thank you to Gene for assisting him through the line and attending to his needs (spoiling him) for a week. Please forward our appreciation to Reggie and the dining staff for a job well done! We also want to recognize the chefs for the best omelets ever! To Chef Devin Ocher, the roasted turkey was superb! We want to say great job! to the housekeeping staff. Our rooms were always clean. We want to thank you, Christina, for joining us for dinner, and making this wonderful experience possible. To Faith, I thank you for the e-mail, and trying to locate me to say good-bye. That is what family does. We love our National Conference Center family!
