God created you and loves you. He wants a personal relationship with you. He wants you to know about Him through His written Word (the Bible), and through His Son (the Lord Jesus Christ). God reveals that He has a purpose and destiny for your life. According to the Bible, until you come to terms with the Lord Jesus, you have not dealt with the issues that separate you from God as well as getting to know Him. Here are a few scripture verses to help you start over again in Christ Jesus.
“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” ~ Philippians 1:6
“For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity.” ~ Proverbs 24:16
“The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the LORD upholds him with His hand.” ~ Psalm 37:23-24
“Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” ~ Hebrews 13:5
“Thus says the LORD, who makes a way in the sea and a path through the mighty waters. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” ~ Isaiah 43:16, 19
“But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” ~ Isaiah 40:31
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” ~ Philippians 4:6
All Scripture quotations are taken from the New King James Version of the Bible.
