Encouragement, Hope and Comfort from God’s Word

The National Association of American Veterans, Inc. (NAAV) is blessed to be able to provide Spiritual Wellness messages, Scripture Readings, and Moments of Meditation to those who served and are serving our nation far from their home. You and your family members and caregivers are not forgotten. Always know that our LORD God knows the challenges, dangers, and difficulties you face every day. God’s Word offers you encouragement, hope, comfort, protection, peace, healing and much more. Please know that we are praying for you that God’s Word will be your daily guide and throughout your journey on earth.

LOVE

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” (John 3:16-17)

JOY

“…Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” (Psalm 30:56)

“… for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” (Nehemiah 8:106)

“For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace be removed, says the LORD, who has mercy on you.” (Isaiah 54:10)

“… to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” (Romans 8:6b)

SECURITY and PROTECTION

“Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.” (2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17)

“The LORD will give strength to His people; the LORD will bless His people with peace.” (Psalm 29:11)

GRACE

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 3:23, 24)

“To the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” (Ephesians 1:6, 7)

“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, who having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” (Titus 3:5-7)

GUIDANCE and DIRECTION

“You in Your mercy have led forth the people whom You have redeemed; you have guided them in Your strength to Your holy habitation.” (Exodus 15:13)

GUIDANCE and DIRECTION (Continued)

“Where can I go from You Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me.” (Psalm 139:7-10)

“Remember that you are saved by God’s Grace (mercy) and not by your works, for it is written, ‘For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)

HEALING

“O LORD my God, I cried out to You, and You healed me.” (Psalm 30:2)

ARE YOU READY for the LORD’s RETURN?

“… that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)

Repent and Believe

“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe in the gospel.” (Mark 1:15)

ARE YOU READY for the LORD’s RETURN? (Continued)

Be Born Again

“Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, uncles one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.’ ‘… unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, you must be born again.’”

(John 3: 3, 5-7)

Receive Eternal Life

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)

Lord Jesus said no one knows the day or the hour of His return. If you want to be ready for His return, you can start now with this prayer.

Lord Jesus, I confess my sin and open my heart to you. You died on the cross to save me from my sin. Lord, help me to turn from my sinful ways and take up my cross and follow You daily. Make me watchful and waiting for the rapture and Your return. Please help me to put on the whole armor of God and show me how to live in the days ahead. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Prayer for our Family Members and Nations

Heavenly Father, we pray that You will safeguard our nation’s service members, veterans and their caregivers and family members especially those serving in foreign nations. Lord, we ask that You protect Israel and Ukraine against terrorist organizations and demonic forces worldwide. We pray for Your guidance, direction, wisdom for all political and military leaders as they make tactical and strategic decisions. Lord God, we pray for a cease to the growing violence, wars, and hatred against God’s people worldwide. O Lord, You said “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14). Lord, we pray that Your divine will and kingdom of God come on earth as it is in heaven above now and forever. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
