God loves you and wants you to experience peace and eternal life – abundant and eternal. The Holy Bible says, “We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Romans 5:1)
“But God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
“I (Jesus) came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10)
What must humanity do to have God’s peace and abundant life because sin separates us from God. God created us in His own image to have an abundant life with free will to choose to obey Him. However, humanity chooses to disobey and go their own way. And even today a majority are still making the choice to go down that wide gate leading to the lake of fire and eternal condemnation. This will result in eternal separation from God.
The Holy Bible says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with Me.” (Revelation 3:20-21)

Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the grave, He paid the penalty for our sins and bridged the gap between God and humanity.

Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before You today with a heavy heart and a troubled mind. The worries and stresses of the world seem to be closing in on me, and I am in desperate need of Your peace. Lord, Your Word says in Philippians 4:7 that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
So, I ask You now to fill me with Your peace. Let it wash over me and replace the stress and worry that I am feeling. Help me to trust in You and to lay my burdens at Your feet. Remind me that You are in control and that with You, I have nothing to fear. Lord, I also pray for the wisdom to focus on the things that I can control, and the strength to let go of the things that I cannot control. Help me to remember that You are my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.
Thank you, Lord, for Your peace that surpasses all understanding. I trust in You and in Your promises. I know that with You by my side, I can face anything. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
