Being thankful is not just for the Thanksgiving holiday. The Bible Scriptures tells us to be “thankful in everything, in all circumstance.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18) When we find ourselves filled with challenges about tomorrow, we can always thank and praise God for who He is and His promise to never leave us or forsake us. Thank the LORD God that we have been blessed with the gift of salvation and eternal life through faith in our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.

A Thanksgiving Prayer for Gratitude and Giving Thanks to God
O LORD our God and Heavenly Father, thank You for Your indescribable grace and mercy. You have provided bread, water, clothing and shelter each day for the nourishment of our earthly bodies. LORD, please grant us Your peace to use these gifts from Your hands with a thankful, reverent heart. Let Your blessing rest on these gifts, for our comfort and sustenance. Heavenly Father, I am so grateful today. My heart overflows with gratitude for Your gift of salvation through faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am so thankful for my family, my home, my Savior. Father, we praise You today with our hearts and songs, we praise You for Your faithfulness, we praise You for Your great power and love. We confess our need for You, our lives do not go so well when we just spin around on our own. Lord, Thank You that You are a loving, gracious God. Thank You that You have offered us forgiveness and the gift of new life in You. Thank You that Your love is perfect, it never fails, and that nothing can separate us from Your love. Today, I ask for nothing and thank You for all things. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
