Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi Applauds Passage Through U.S. House of Representatives Of Post Office Renaming Bill In Honor Of Veterans Of Iraq and Afghanistan

WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi announced the
passage of his bill (H.R. 6386) through the U.S. House of
Representatives to rename the Schaumburg Post Office. This bill renames
the Post Office located at 450 West Schaumburg Road as the “Veterans of
Iraq and Afghanistan Memorial Post Office Building.”

“I am pleased that my bill to rename the Schaumburg Post Office in honor
of veterans was passed out of the U.S. House of Representatives today,”
Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi said. “Our veterans of Iraq and
Afghanistan sacrificed for this great country, and they deserve this
recognition within our community. How we honor our veterans reflects who
we are as a country. I look forward to this bill passing the Senate and
being signed into law by President Biden.”
