Why does NAAV Exist?
We support Servicemembers severely injured in combat, military
caregivers, single-parent Servicemembers, and Veterans and their
families. We provide claims and benefits assistance, respite care
assistance, emergency assistance resources, housing and financial aid
referrals, legal help and career coaching.
NAAV exist to help Veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress
disorder, traumatic brain injury, depression, and suicidal tendency.
NAAV has sponsored a imagery program, “Managing Stress and Anxiety
Through Guided Imagery,” by Diane Tusek, a noted national expert.
Guided Imagery is a relaxation technique used to ease stress and anxiety
during stressful or difficult time in someone’s life.
How is NAAV work different from that of other, similar charities?
NAAV is committed to assisting Servicemembers, Veterans, and their
families experiencing financial hardship. An emergency assistance
referral may be provided to help families during their time of need such
as counseling referrals, real estate, personal financial assistance
through one of our partners, medical transportation, as well as housing
assistance and medical care information.
What have NAAV Accomplished?
In 2015, NAAV president and CEO received a Congressional Award for work
in support of homeless Veterans nationwide. From 2015 to present, the
founder, president, chief executive officer, and veterans’ service
officer of NAAV, Inc. was recognized by the Worldwide Who’s Who for
demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in Veterans’
Advocacy and health care services.
Since 2005, NAAV has been an advocate for caregivers of Veterans most in
need nationwide. NAAV’s recommendations for the caregivers was accepted
by the President’s Commission report to President Bush in 2007, and in
2010 Title 1 of Public Law 111.164, Caregivers of Veterans Omnibus
Health Services Act was approved and signed by President Barack Obama.
In 2007, NAAV president and chief executive officer introduced an
outline and text for a Guide to Healthy Caregiving, which was published
by Quick Series Publishing in 2008 and later adopted by the VA Caregiver
Support Program in 2011.

NAAV is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit veterans’ service organization since its
inception in 2005 and our administrative costs is 5.3 percent, donations
go straight to Veterans and their families, in ways that make an
