Prayer Against the COVID-19 International Prayer Day, February 6, 2021

On Saturday, February 6, 2021 Prayer Warriors from around the world held its annual International Prayer Day with its main purpose to pray against the COVID-19 pandemic crisis worldwide.  This zoom and dial-in event began at 12 noon until 3:00 p.m. EST.   The welcome was presented by Evangelist Margaret Walker, NAAV’s Senior Advisor for Spiritual Wellness with Words of Inspiration by COVID-19 Survivor Sister Kim, USA.  Twenty-eight (28) Prayer Warriors representing continents or countries around the world in the USA, Cuba, Philippines, India, Bahrain, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, Germany, and the UK as pastors, evangelists and servants of the Great High Priest.

The International Prayer Day Prayer Warriors joined together on February 6, 2021, to pray for God to eradicate COVID-19 and all its strains (variations).  The Prayer Warriors will be thanking God for healing our loved ones that have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and to decrease the death tolls globally.  Prayer Warriors truly believe that God honors His world and that, “The righteous cry, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.”  “Now Jesus was telling the disciples a parable to make the point that at all times they ought to pray and not give up and lose heart” (Luke 18:1).

Opening Prayer of Thanksgiving to God

We give praise to God, our Father, who is the healer of all sickness and disease!  We praise Him as our Savior, our Rock, Breath of Life, Everlasting Father, and The Mighty God!

We thank God for restoring all those diagnosed with COVID-19 with health and healing of all effects of the coronavirus.  The glory of the Lord shall be with those who are in recovery and He will life them up!

We thank God that their life will be lifted-up from destruction, and that they will be crowned with His tender mercies.

As we touch and agree this day that all patients with COVID-19 be healed and made whole, we all stand on God’s word that COVID-19 patients are covered in the blood, resting, and all cough and fever are gone.  We have faith that there will be a manifestation of the miraculous-working power of God and His glory will cover them.  We thank God for strengthening their mind, heart and body.  We thank God for giving them hope and encouragement through His grace.  We touch and agree that every void will be filled, and the Holy Spirit will continue to lead and guide them.  May every need be met financially, spiritual, physical, and mental.  May they know God’s uncompromising love that will continuously carry them and sustain them.

May their hearts be lifted as they are refreshed and filled with the Holy Spirit in Jesus’ name, we pray.  Amen.

A Hero’s Welcome

  By Robert Longley

Time to come home dear brother.

Your tour of duty through

You have given as much as anyone.

Could be expected to do.

Just a few steps further

The smoke will start to clear.

Others here will guide you.

You have no need to fear.

You have not failed your brothers.

You clearly gave it all.

And through our selfless actions

Others will hear the call.

So, take our place of honor,

Among those who have gone before

And know you will be remembered,

For now, and evermore.

In His Loving Arms,

Evangelist Margaret Walker

Heavenly Father, I enter your Throne of Grace humbly to give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was and who is to come, the Great Hight Priest, the Great I AM that I AM, the Alpha and the Omega the Beginning and the End the First and the Last, Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace, the Almighty God, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, One God, One LORD, One Faith and One Baptism in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We give praise to God our heavenly Father who is our divine healer of all sickness and disease.  We praise You for being the rock of our Salvation, Breath of Life, our Refuge and Strength and Everlasting Father.  We thank You for your loving kindness and ever-loving faithfulness.  For You so loved the world that you gave Your only Son that whoever believes in Him will not parish but have everlasting life.  You did not send Your Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved.  As you said in Your Holy Word “You must be born again.  Born of the water and of the Spirit.”

Lord God, we come to you today on behalf of all who have contracted the coronavirus around the world that through faith in You they will be healed and strengthen.  And the unsaved among them will be saved for when two or three come together in Your name You are in the midst.   Lord, we know that You are guiding them in every area of their life, even when they may not feel your presence.   Lord, God help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not in their own understanding and in all their ways help them to acknowledge You and You will direct their paths in righteousness.

Help us to put on the whole Armor of God (the Helmet of Salvation, the Sword of the Spirit, the Breast of Righteousness, the Shield of Faith, the Belt of Truth and the Feet Shod with the Gospel of Peace so that we can withstand the fiery darts of the evil one who come to kill, steal and destroy but You have come that we might have life more abundantly.  You know us so well Lord – our fears, our hurts and our desires.  But now, God, I want your guidance and directions for the Body of Christ as we fast and pray against the enemy of our soul and spirit and the COVID-19 pandemic that has taken lives on earth.  We ask that you give strength to the heart, mind and soul of all those who have the COVID-19 and provide comfort to those who have lost loved ones around the world especially our Servicemembers, Veterans, their caregivers and family members worldwide who need your comfort for their mind, heart and body.

On this International Prayer Day, we all come together in unity representing the Body of Christ and to pray against a common enemy the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic outbreak worldwide.  As You know, Lord, God everyone has been affected by COVID-19 patients, medical doctors, and health care workers worldwide and the coronavirus does not discriminate, so whether you are white or black, rich or poor, or live in the north or south or east or west everyone has been affected by COVID-19.

James 1:2-6 says, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds.”  Psalm 103:2-3 says, “Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all His benefits, who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.”

Lord, the COVID-19 pandemic caught many members of the Body of Christ off guard.  It has shaken the stability of our world in many ways, and has put us all on unknown path, living one day at a time, week-by-week, and month-by-month.  Many are battling anxiety, stress, suicide thoughts, homelessness, hunger, joblessness, loss of loved ones and family members, or trying to adjust to a new reality of how you live your life.

You said, Lord, in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turned from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”   God, you are our refuge and strength, and ever-present help in trouble.  Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth gives way, and the mountains shake with its swelling.”  Again, you said in Your Word “I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace.  In this world you will have trouble.  But take heart!  I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

The reality is that we will face trials.  We will face challenges.  We will endure pandemics and we will face many unexpected and difficult battles on a global level and in our personal lives.  Please know that God knows all of this and the details of what we face.  He will be with you as your help and source of strength to get through whatever you are going through.  You can let go of fear and let your faith in God take over your biggest concerns.  The Lord Jesus Christ overcame the world so that we could have love, peace, hope and faith in Him.

Psalm 23:4 says, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”  Matthew 28:20 says, “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

So, no matter how lonely or isolated you may feel, you can remind yourself and meditate on God’s promises that He is with us every step of the way.  God is our comforter, and He is with us no matter what we are going through.  John 14:1-3 says, “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.  In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I god and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive (rapture) you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”  “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God.  And the dead in Christ will first.  Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up (rapture) together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.  And thus, we shall always be with the Lord” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

So, whatever happens in the coming weeks and months, we as believers are assured that we have a hiding place in the Lord our God and are protected by Him through God the Holy Spirit.  You can call on the Lord Jesus Christ to keep you safe and trust that His perfect will shall be done in our lives when we call upon Him.  We can all turn to God in every situation to find shelter and safety.  Therefore, turn your heart, thoughts and mind toward our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the Author and Finisher of our faith.

In the Lord Jesus’ name, we pray.  Thank You LORD!  Amen.

Closing Prayer:

Jesus is the Cure for COVID-19

Jehovah Raphe, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ still heals!!  He is still on the throne and still give miracles.  He is our Way Maker!!  He is our Deliverer!!  He is our Promise Keeper!!  He is our Savior!!  He is a Mighty God!!  He is supernaturally Healing!!

Jesus Christ completed his work of redemption.  He defeated death on the Cross.  He gives us eternal life.  He nailed sickness and diseases on the cross.  He is restoring.  We are healed by His stripes!

Isaiah 53:5 says, “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”

1 Peter 2:24 says, “Who his own self bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.”

We thank God that healing is their portion forever and by his stripes we are healed.  We thank God for peace and restoration of those recovering from the coronavirus.  In Jesus’ name, we pray.  Amen.
