Itself
2 Timothy 3:15,16
“… but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know of God, which is the church yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. And with controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifested in the flesh,
Justified in the Spirit,
Seen by angels,
Preached among the Gentiles,
Believed on in the world,
Received up in glory.”
Psalm 19:7
“The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul, the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.”
God
Psalm 99:9
“Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at His holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.”
1 Timothy 1:17
“Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.”
Isaiah 45:21,22
“Tell and bring forth your case; yes, let them take counsel together, who has declared this from ancient time? Who has told it from that time? Have not I, the LORD? And there is no other god besides me, a just God and a Savior; there is none besides Me. Look to Me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.”
Man
Genesis 1:27
“So, God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”
Isaiah 43,7
“Everyone who is called by My name, whom I have created for My Glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.”
Sin
Romans 5:12
“Therefore, just as through one-man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because of sin.”
Isaiah 59:2
“But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear.”
Romans 3:23,24
“… for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”
Heaven
Revelation 21:3-4
“And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, ‘Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
Revelation 21-27
“But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.”
Hell
2 Thessalonians 1:8,9
“… in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power.”
Revelation 20:15
“And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.”
Summary
The Bible is God’s word of love and salvation.
“… but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that
Believing you may have life in His name.” (John 20:31)
The Time Is Near
Revelation 22:6,7
“Then he said to me, ‘These words are faithful and true. And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place.’ Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
Rejoice and be Thankful unto God.
We should give thanks to God for the wonderful gift of salvation.
“Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!” (2 Corinthians 9:15)
The Holy Spirit helps us understand God’s Word.
“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.” (1 Corinthians 2:12)
Jesus has gained victory over death for us.
“So, when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then
Shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”
(1 Corinthians 15:54)
